We all see the things that need improvements in our community: the broken window, the unfriendly park areas, or perhaps your neighbor that needs help with raking leaves.

Too often people don’t have the funds to fix these problems.

This is why the Southwestern Idaho Legacy Organization (SILO) was created; to inspire you to improve your community. Take action: submit your grant now, before the September 30th deadline.

Originally created as the Caldwell Community Foundation in 1976 with funds from the sale of the Caldwell Memorial Hospital, we changed our name to better describe the area the organization serves. SILO was created with funds committed to the development of a better quality of life for the residents of the Caldwell community defined as Canyon County lying west of Middleton Road and Owyhee County lying west of Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian.
